MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Dunkirk - the Navy Comes Home. DESCRIPTION: The gallant little ships that have brought the men from the beaches of Dunkirk. SHOTLIST: Excellent shots of small craft being towed in. Various shots of ruins of the port of Dunkirk, Dunkirk being bombed, several shots - fires etc. British troops marching across rail lines towards beach. Army equipment burning. At sea ships burning and various wrecks in the harbour. Good shots of troops embarking. Good shots of Red Cross ship with cross on side. Troops in small boats being towed by larger ships. Several shots of little boats being towed to sea. Small Craft From Dunkirk Various shots of the small boats being towed up the Thames. Later they are tethered at Teddington (Shhh!).
