Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: At Sea With Britain’s Battle Cruisers. DESCRIPTION: The British Navy continues its day and night watch on the coast. SHOTLIST: A visit is paid by officers of "Renown" to "Repulse". They are welcomed by a "Nazi Parachutist". Then the ships put to sea and plough through the swell escorted by destroyers. Paravanes are put out and a floating mine is fired at and destroyed (Library scene). Then battle practice is held and 15, 4 inch and pom-poms go into action. At night, an air raid alarm is given and in the gloom the guns open fire. (This last scenes is an exceptionally good sequences which should be noted). NB Shots are taken from "Repulse" so that only views of that ship are from aboard.
