- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: LDV Trailer. DESCRIPTION: The Local Defence Volunteers are new renamed The Home Guard. The men are busy training for the defence of the country. SHOTLIST: The men apared [sic] and are inspected by Lt General Sir Henry Pownall. Shots of two on patrol. They see a parachutist. One runs to Platoon base. Reinforcements are detailed and message sent by motor-cycle to HQ. The military are telephoned. One officer addresses his men and tells them to "Kill the Bosch".
