Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Coastal Defence Manoeuvres. DESCRIPTION: Somewhere on the East Coast rehearsals are taking place for the defence of Britain. If the invasion comes civilians are asked to stay put, as refugees in the Low Countries hampered troop movements. SHOTLIST: Spitfire fires machine guns. Spitfires take off and fly in formation. "Lysander" watches the skies while troops move up and while Bren Carriers race to the scenes. Shot of two German dogs. The Lysander spots as the 60 pounders go into action.
