- Horse Guards Parade and 260 Tartan-clad bandsmen of the ten Scottish Regiments put on a tremendous show Beating Retreat. It’s the first time the massed pipes and drums of the Regiments have appeared at the same time in one parade. The Queen and Price Philip were there and Her Majesty took the salute.
