MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Battle of Atlantic. DESCRIPTION: The convoys continue to cross the Atlantic despite the menace of German U-boats. With the protection of the Navy the supplies are still reaching our ports. SHOTLIST: GV moonlight on sea. 3 shots small merchant ships. GV, MS & CU German U-boat prisoners on ships deck. MS merchant ship & escort. LS pan convoy at sea. GV convoy. LS ship (x2). MS rolling sea from ships deck. LAS lookout points out to sea. GV sea with trail of U-boat. 2 shots sea from deck. GV ships lay depth charge. Air To Sea depth charge explodes. GV depth charges explode. CU officer with telescope. CU sailor with lifeboat. CU officer looks through binoculars. GV convoy at sea (x2).
