Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Duchess of Kent Visits WRNS. DESCRIPTION: As Commandant of the WRENS, the Duchess of Kent visits the Royal Naval College at Greenwich. SHOTLIST: The Duchess boards a launch for an inspection of WRNS. She inspects first Cadets from a Training Centre for Officers and then she salutes a march past. She also views girl dispatch riders. In the teleprinter room she sees operators in training and later sees a draft of trained WRNS leaving the depot. The girls give Her Highness three hearty cheers when she leaves.
