- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: Out in the Hertfordshire countryside we visit a place where they put up brick walls for the satisfaction of knocking them down again, where they deliberately expose paintwork to all weathers, and where they wear out new linoleum in a few days. But all this is done with a purpose, for this is the government Building Research Station where a team of highly skilled back-room boys make exhaustive tests into the many highly interesting problems connected with building methods and building materials.
