- Pathe synopsis: The annual agricultural show as Oswestry, set in all the loveliness of the border counties, dates back to 1862. After a break, which lasted until shortly after the last war, it returned to enjoy ever-increasing popularity. Now this spectacular shop window of the century is unsurpassed by the many agricultural shows held throughout the world.
