Summary
Pathe synopsis: Behind the scenes of a leading shoe store [Dolcis] we meet the designers of the future, who are given free rein to develop their ideas - without having to worry whether the public is ready for the innovation or not. Occasionally the ideas come from the past but are designed in the modern idiom: thus we see "Punchinello", based on the court jester’s shoe of the Middle Ages. Ultra-modern are the jewelled shoe clips, especially made to match one’s evening accessories.
