- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: The Whyte Harte, at Bletchingly, Surrey, has been a familiar landmark to travellers since 1388 - and anyone from those days would recognise not only the outside, but many of the old customs which have been maintained inside. You can still get mulled ale, mulled wine, jugged hare (cooked in a 180-year-old pressure cooker) or waffles made on an 18th-century waffle iron!
