- Pathe synopsis: Annually, in the village of Geddington, Northamptonshire, "ye freemen, serfs and vassals" of the South side challenge the freemen, etc., of the North side to a tug-o’-war across the river. The losing team gets very wet; but so do the winners - the prize is a firkin of ale!
