Summary
Pathe synopsis: But how do you check the time of a racing pigeon? As the homing bird circles high over its loft, a clock ticks frantically away. The moment it lands, the owner will remove a small metal band from the bird’s leg, and pop it in the clock for the time stamp. But the pigeon just circles and circles, the seconds ticking away. In spite of the circling birds and the high blood-pressure of owners, the sport is growing year by year. In fact, it was once the sport of kings - the late King George was a very keen pigeon owner.
