Summary
Pathe synopsis: Every shape and size of old-time bicycle and tricycle turned up at the Oxfordshire village of Berrick Salome - along with Pathe Pictorial - but that’s not what made the wedding really different. The fact is, the reception was held in a field which the bride’s father farms alongside the church, and the whole village was invited. Instead of cutting the cake, the bride carved each of the guests a slice of beef cooked in a monster barbeque on the spot.
