- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: American Troops in Ulster. DESCRIPTION: The first film of American troops in Northern Ireland since their arrival shows how they are settling in. SHOTLIST: The troops march in rainy weather and through thick mud. They prepare their huts to look like home and nurses watch a parade and inspection before Lt General HE Franklyn and Major General Russell Hartle. Then the men do gas drill and bayonet practice.
