- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: The people of Mexico City spend their Sunday pleasure coolly. If not in some blue pool, then at Xochimlco, with its famous floating gardens. You paddle through a world of flowers which, incredibly, is a weekday world of commerce. For six days every week, the floating gardens are vegetable gardens. Earthy vegetables are brought to market by these waters. But on Sunday, Xochimilco is a floating, boating paradise that extends as invitation to all.
