Summary
Pathe synopsis: Yesterday takes us to Northwich where canal barges are hoisted fifty feet from one waterway to another by a weird Victorian hydraulic lift. Incredibly, it might become a thing of tomorrow because, with traffic jams on the roads, the canals are making a come-back.
