- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sunlight for Miners. DESCRIPTION: Miners are given a two minute daily dose of sun-ray treatment to help compensate for the time they spend underground. The innovation was first introduced at Doncaster and is expected to spread to other areas. SHOTLIST: Shots of the men in the pit. They leave and the new showers are compared with the older methods of washing. Then they receive ray-treatment.
