Summary
Pathe synopsis: A thousand miles from the sea the St Lawrence river is nine miles wide and has carved out the Thousand Islands - a scenic wonder of the world. The frontier between Canada and New York State follows a zig-zag line through this archipelago which is a sportsman’s paradise. Great suspension bridges span this maze of islands, some just big enough to have a single house and garden, some of such size that they’ve been reserved as National Parks. Ocean-going steamers rub shoulders with small holiday craft on this tranquil waterway which, in fact, is fed by the swirling water that roars over Niagara Falls. So we go to Niagara, the Honeymoon City where there is always the sound of those compelling falls in your almost unbelieving ears.
