Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sevastopol - Russia’s Tobruk. DESCRIPTION: Sevastopol has held out for six months against the German army. Unable to take the city they have bombed the surrounding Crimean villages. SHOTLIST: Under the statues of the men who defended the town from the British and French, men of the Russian forces stand guard. Reinforcements and men from the Black Sea Fleet are landed and march away singing. Artillery fires and dive-bombers crash their bombs onto villages. Shots of the wreckage and Red planes counter attacking. Naval gunners are in the trenches and a mounted Marine brings the order "Advance". Shots of dead enemy soldiers.
