MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Premier and Mr Casey Visit Troops. DESCRIPTION: General Marshall with Mr Churchill watches a demonstration of modern tactics. SHOTLIST: 1. Shot of PM with Mr Casey and General Marshall. 2. The PM shows them Stonehenge. Afterwards they witness a shoot. 3. Shots of guns in action etc., and shots of the shells bursting around dummy tank targets. 4. Close-up of PM, General Marshall and Mr Casey. 5. PM shows General Marshall binoculars used by Admiral Sims in the last war. 6. Shots of smoke-screen being put up. 7. PM and General Marshall ride in a bren-carrier. The carrier is named Marlborough. 8. PM inspects parachute troops. 9. Planes revving-up and taking off for parachute drops. 10. Barratt. C-in-C, of Air Troops. 11. Smoke-screen is put up to cover parachute landing. Fighters fly low over crowd. The PM watches tanks charge past, whilst sitting in truck. Travel shot of tanks. PM then inspects tanks and tank corps and shakes hands with the CO’s of the Tank Division. Lord Louis Mountbatten is present, also Lord Portal, Lord Chelwood and Professor Lindeman. Finally General Marshall inspects and watches march past of the Grenadier Guards.
