MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rubber Salvage. DESCRIPTION: In America the collection of rubber for the war effort has become essential, with ninety per cent of the world’s supplies now being in enemy hands. SHOTLIST: Shots of a huge dump of rubber tyres. The younger general bring their contributions to a petrol station, where they are handed over and an appropriate compensation paid. The kids hand over all toys and other things.
