- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Decorations for Tokyo Raiders. DESCRIPTION: At an American Army Air Corps Base in Britain Major Kegelman received the DSC. At another ceremony in Washington the men who bombed Tokyo received their DFC’s. SHOTLIST: Men who raided Tokyo are awarded distinguished Flying Crosses as their chief, Brigadier General Doolittle looks on. Only some of them paraded. A few are in hospital and others were on active service. Their girl friends and wives were there to show them that medals are not the only reward. Kisses. Four American Airmen Receive Medals For The Independence Day Raid Over France - CARD 42590 Various shots of the parade. General Spaak presents decorations to the men, who took part in the first American Raid over Western Europe of the war.
