- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Liberator Bombers in the Middle East. DESCRIPTION: Using American "Liberators" the Allies bomb Benghazi. SHOTLIST: Liberator Bombers, are seen being bombed-up. Some have American markings and some RAF. They both go on operations together. They are from the same station in Egypt. They fly in formation to Benghazi, where bombs can be seen bursting on the harbour (aerial scenes). The bombs fall across the target. Return to base. I believe there are shots of the Liberators taking off.
