- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Home Guard Marines. DESCRIPTION: The Home Guard is not just land based it also carries out Marine Patrol’s such as the one on Lake Windermere. SHOTLIST: Shot of HG Speed boats at speed, soldiers standing behind Sten gun. Troops landing on coast of rock surface. Craft zigzagging to escape ‘enemy’ fire. Cuts - HG rushing to boathouses houses. Shots of cruisers carrying assault troops escorted by speed boats. Cruisers - small craft. Speed craft laying smoke screen. Launches approaching shore, HG jumping off into water, which completely covers them, they run up the beaches with guns "at the ready". Speed craft speeding through water into camera. SV of same. Launches laying off, boathouses in background. Mines exploding as troops advance up beach.
