MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Liberty Launching. DESCRIPTION: Exactly twenty-four days after they laid her keel a ‘Liberty Ship’ was ready for launching at the Kaiser Shipyard. SHOTLIST: CU Mr Henry Kaiser Jnr. & Mrs Kaiser standing waiting to break bottle against ship. CU Mrs Kaiser throws bottle at ship, the bottle does not break however, and the ship begins to move down runway, her son immediately grabs at the bottle and throws same at ship, it hits the side & breaks into pieces. "John Fitch" going down runway. "John Fitch" in the water.
