MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rhodesian Natives Join in (Madagascar & Kenya Regiment) A.256. DESCRIPTION: The latest pictures from Madagascar show the arrival of an African Regiment at Diego Saurez. SHOTLIST: General shot of troops aboard ship. Another section of ship. Sergeant Major with Tommy gun. In rear they start moving kit. Down gangway to lighters. Over side of ship to lighters below now filling with troops (coloured). Shot of officers in stern waiting to cast off. General shot of Diego Suarez. Troops form patrol & move off into jungle, 2 scenes going through jungle. Passing through banana & coconut palms. Through long grass & out of camera. Troops parading on dry river be, this being their parade ground. Troops drilling, marching etc. CU various soldiers. Sergeant George of Britain training troops. CU instructor running on the spot. Also troops. Pan shot of country.
