MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: North African Co-Operation. DESCRIPTION: The French and American forces co-operate in Morocco. SHOTLIST: Cut story - GS of Casablanca Harbour, various shots, VG. US troops on quay, & disembarking from ship. Parading in grounds of Rabat Cathedral; Generals Patton & Nogues arriving & laying wreaths on tomb, step back & salute; CU wreaths. GS Rabat Cathedral (modern architecture). Laying wreaths on another tomb are General Nogues & Harmon (US) they salute. Nogues & Harmon, followed by Si Mohammed Mammeri leaving Cathedral. MS two Zouaves on horseback. Graveyard showing wooden crosses. French civilians being fitted out with uniform, showing them leaving building, in uniform. Pan French uniforms (in). Various shots of battleships, cruisers, destroyers etc. off coast of Mers el Kabir. Battleships seen are the Nelson & Rodney. GS of big guns of Nelson.
