MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mussolini’s Bust Scrapped "Mussolini talks again". DESCRIPTION: A bust of Il Duce, taken from a captured Italian liner, has been crushed in America. SHOTLIST: Mussolini’s bust being carried through streets on a slab by four sailors. Placed under steam hammer, you see the bust disappear into crevice. It then rises to the ground level again as a piece of flat metal. Cut Story - Various library shots of Mussolini addressing people. R Harris the ‘English gentleman’ taking tea (interior shot). More library material of Mussolini with Hitler. Then over to America showing bust of Mussolini being carried away on slab, and crushed to sheet metal. CU Bust.
