- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Utility Clothing. DESCRIPTION: A recent fashion show demonstrates the difference between the early war austerity fashion and the new utility. SHOTLIST: Interior shots showing mannequins parading around exhibiting clothes which aren’t utility & the little difference in utility clothing. CU Manageress speaking into mike describing each article. Womens clothing only, not mens. Cut Story - This consists entirely of mannequin show held at Simpson’s. The mannequins are displaying the utility dresses and costumes. Flash back to 1927 and 1914. Pan up from girls feet to skirt. Francis Day holding a bouquet of flowers. Gives short address.
