MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Village Tribute to VC. DESCRIPTION: The village of Huntington, in Yorkshire pays tribute to Major le Patourel who won his VC in Tunisia. SHOTLIST: Cut story - GS shot of crowds lining streets, GS of march past includes Boy Scouts band, & followed by Civil Defence. MS of Major taking salute & CU of him (Major Le Patourel). Pan of crowds in streets, children with dirty faces. Kids look out of barn. Major with a background of barn, haystack & pig farm, says a few words to the villagers. Scroll presented (illuminated signature) to Major by one of the villagers. GS of the Major with his mother & sister.
