MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Quebec Conference. DESCRIPTION: Mr Churchill and Mr Mackenzie King were at the Citadel to greet President Roosevelt on his arrival in Quebec. The conference was to plan the strategy for breaking the Axis in Europe and the East. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS Citadel. GS of Roosevelt car arriving at the Citadel. Various shots of Mr Churchill & Mr Mackenzie King, awaiting his arrival. Group walking across grounds. GS of group on roof of Citadel, being L to R General Arnold (US), Air Chief Marshal Sir Charles Portal, General Sir Alan Brooke, Admiral King (US), Field Marshal Sir J Dill, General Marshall (US), Admiral Sir Dudley Pound, Admiral Leahy (US). In front row being Mr Mackenzie King, Mr Roosevelt, & Mr Churchill. GS of flying boat in flight, & after landing on sea, Mr Eden & Brendan Bracken alight various shots, up gangway into camera. Eden shaking hands with Roosevelt. Shots of more personalities shows Earl of Athlone with Mr Churchill & others, another shot showing Countess of Athlone, these are on the roof, the backgrounds are very good. Mrs & Mary Churchill walk through grounds to buggy cart, after getting seated they are driven round the city. Interior shots shows Conference Table, seated are Lord Louis Mountbatten, Sir Dudley Pound, Sir Alan Brooke, Sir Charles Portal, & all others previously mentioned.
