MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bigger & Better - New Bombs. DESCRIPTION: The size of bombs is increasing all the time first came the 4,000 pounder and then the 8,000 pounder. Now the RAF are using 12,000 pounder on targets in Northern France. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Various shots of bomb dumps raging from 250lbs to 4,000lb bombs. (This being Library & Paramount material). Shot of 8,000lb bomb being conveyed to plane, passes 250lb bomb. Fixing detonator to bomb. Bomb being lifted into bomb rack. RAFFU - Night aerial shots of 12,000lb bombs bursting on target (Albert - France), various shots of same.
