MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Eisenhower at Sandhurst. DESCRIPTION: The Supreme Allied Commander reviewed the Passing Out Parade at Sandhurst and addressed the new Officers. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Eisenhower walks round grounds, accompanied by officers. Watches cadets, doing PT & various shots of them going through toughening course. Various angle shots of him inspecting lines of Sherman tanks, including into camera shot. GV of college, Eisenhower walks out onto steps. GV of march-past (marching to the tune "British Grenadier"). Angle shots of him presenting belts of ranks to officer cadets. GV of him on steps. CU of Eisenhower during speech on which he talks about the softening up of the Germans; everybody doing their part in the war; & responsibility of the passing out cadets. GV of cadets slow marching into college (tune "Auld Lang Syne"), followed Adjutant on white horse. GS of cadets paraded saluting (presenting arms).
