MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Russian Awards for Men of Britain. DESCRIPTION: Orders and medals were recently presented to a large number of United Kingdom servicemen by the Soviet Ambassador, Mr Gusev. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Interior shots shows group seated, amongst whom is the Rt. Hon. GH Hall (Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Office). M Gusev makes presentations to Air Vice Marshal Bennett, also to AG Captain Cunningham ('Cats-eyes’), also members of Army, Navy & Merchant Navy. CU of medals, which are: Orders Of Suvarov, Kutusov, Alexander Nevksy, & the Patriotic War. MS of M Gusev making speech about our two countries.
