- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Antwerp - Before & After the Huns Left. DESCRIPTION: These pictures of the German occupation of Antwerp and the British liberation were taken by a member of the Belgian Underground Army. As in other cities there were scenes of rejoicing at being free from the Nazis. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Various shots of Antwerp, blow-up material. Shots show Nazis evacuating Antwerp, on lorries, half track lorries etc. Belgian White Brigade tear down German signs. Ransack collaborators houses, throw belongings out of windows etc. 35mm - Sherman tanks enter Antwerp, crowds wave, cheer etc., Belgian ride on Sherman tanks through crowds. German prisoners marched through city. Finishing on crowds cheering.
