MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess Launches HMS " _______". DESCRIPTION: At a British port Princess Elizabeth launches the latest battleship, one of the mightiest class ever built in this country. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Shot of Union Jack flying, National Anthem being played, pan down to Princess Elizabeth with Admiral Cunningham. Princess Elizabeth says "God bless her & all who sail in her". Bottle smashes on bows, ship commences to run down slipway. Shot of side of ship as it passes down slipway. Crowds cheer. Names of the ship was HMS ‘Vanguard’.
