MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: World’s Fastest Plane P80. DESCRIPTION: America’s new fighter, the P80 is claimed to be the fastest in the world. On a recent flight from Dayton to New York it covered 544 miles in one hour, two minutes. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV "Shooting Star" P80 fighter plane, jet-propelled. Various of plane from all angles shows intakes, six 50-calibre guns in nose of plane. GV of cockpit, panning shot of plane. GV crowds looking at P80 from a distance.
