- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lord Mayor’s Show. DESCRIPTION: The first post-war Lord Mayor’s Show, in honour of Sir Arthur Davies, could not quite match those pre-war days. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV Parade. Lord Mayor taking salute at Mansion House. Various shots of members of the Services marching, Marines, Wrens, WAAFs, ATS, Army, RAF, various tracking shots, band playing. Please note the music tracks are very good. Shots of Pikemen, also the Beefeaters in marchpast. SCU Sir Arthur Davies (Lord Mayor) watching parade. Men of the Colonies, New Zealanders, Indians etc. GV of parade approaching St Paul’s, seen in background with ruins surrounding same - very good. Cut-ins of crowds also many watching marchpast from ruins of city. Shot of ATS Pipe Band (Scottish) in Cut story.
