MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hagenbeck Zoo. DESCRIPTION: Two elephants from the Hagenbeck Zoo, near Hamburg, are helping to clear bomb damage in the Eimsbuttl district of the city. SHOTLIST: KS GV reindeers running down hill country. MS polar bear, lion, chimpanzees etc. CU elephant’s eye. MS elephants "Kiri" and "Manni" assisting in clearing the debris of the town of Eimsbuttl, Germany. Various shots lifting heavy girders etc. Crowd look on, some feed the animals. Shot of keeper looking after same. Elephants hauling wreckage etc.
