- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Christmas With British Army of the Rhine. DESCRIPTION: British troops stationed in Germany enjoyed Christmas as best they could. At BAOR Headquarters there was a dinner for some 2,000 men and women. Various centres put on dancing as at the Schutzenhof. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS German policeman with Christmas tree walks along street. Shots of German riding cycle, others walking, all carrying Christmas trees. A Private has tea brought to him in bed by his officer, the former lying in bed snoring. British soldiers and ATS leave church at Bad Oeynhausen, walk into camera, organ plays "Noel". British troops and ATS singing carols, again "Noel". At BAOR HQ British enjoy party having a good feed, various shots troops dancing with German girls and various shots, Military Police walk around hall. This is at Schatzenhof. Troops and ATS seem to be thoroughly enjoying themselves.
