- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: RAF Sink U-Boats Off Ireland. DESCRIPTION: Scenes from "Operation Deadlight" show the sinking of German U-boats by RAF Coastal Command off Northern Ireland. The relics of Hitler’s Navy were sent to the bottom with the use of rockets and depth charges. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS Aerial shot of U-boat. Mosquito fires rockets at U-boat, near misses and direct hits, some ricochet. Various shots of U-boats being shot up. "Warwick" drops depths charges. CU aerial of "Warwick", depth charges get direct hit, huge explosion. Water settling down after explosions. Many near misses on U-boats. Finishing on shot of U-boat sinking, it’s bows sticking out of water.
