- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Wimbledon - Petra Beats G Brown (Aust.). DESCRIPTION: Yvon Petra of France met Geoff Brown of Australia in the Men’s Final. It was a tremendous battle with Petra winning in five sets. SHOTLIST: KS queue outside Wimbledon. GV crowds in grounds around Centre Court. Yvon Petra and Geoff Brown walk onto court, out of camera. CU Petra on court, also Brown at other end. CU Petra serving and receiving. CU Brown serving and dropping other ball which he does not use. CU fore-hand drive uses both hands and back hand drive using left hand. Brown volleying. Petra in play, serving and beating Brown with his service. Brown retaliating after losing first two sets, 6-2, 6-4. Brown serves cannon-ball service and beats Petra, cut-ins of audience applauding and players taking refreshments between games. Petra playing winning stroke, jumps net and shakes hands with Brown. Walks off court with arm round Brown. Petra goes and picks up racket and kisses same. The two pose for cameras and walk off court into camera.
