Then there was a carnival display with floats and folk dancing. SHOTLIST: KS GV Brest. MS of ruined cenotaph. Lord Provost lays wreath on same - to commemorate liberation. CU wreath. Procession passing, all in national costume, floats etc. Cut-ins of Sir Hector McNeil taking salute (in mayoral dress). French folk dancing before Sir Hector, dancing to pipes. Various shots of same. Small parties bow before Sir Hector, who acknowledges same.
