MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Palestine Conference Opens. DESCRIPTION: The Palestine Conference has opened at Lancaster House in London. Mr Attlee opened the proceedings. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS Delegates’ cars drive into forecourt of the above. Interior - Emir Feisal of Saudi Arabia arrives, followed by Sheikh Hafis Wabha of Saudi Arabia, who is followed by Emir Abdullah of Yemen. Other representative take their seats. Mr Attlee accompanied by Mr Bevin take their seats. CU Sir Norman Brook seated. Mr Attlee stands up and opens conference. Jewish delegates are absent.
