MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Monty at West Point and Washington. DESCRIPTION: Field Marshal Montgomery’s first port of call in America was the Military Academy at West Point. He then travelled to Washington where he was met by Generals Eisenhower and Bradley. SHOTLIST: CU Monty smiling. Monty inspects West Point Cadets, accompanied by Lieutenant General Taylor (US). Various shots of cadets in marchpast, band playing Colonel Bogey. Monty alights from plane at Washington, greeted by General Eisenhower and General Bradley. CU of the three. Monty at mike makes speech, saying how glad I am to be in US.
