- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sydney Wool Sales. DESCRIPTION: The wool sales held again in Sydney, during the war Britain bought all Australia’s production but much of it is only now on it’s way to where it is needed. SHOTLIST: KS Sheep grazing on land. Various shots of sheep skins being cleaned, inspected by prospective buyers. Warehouse of sheep skins. Inside auction room, buyers seated in tiers, their names printed in front of them. Buying starts and it consists of shouting one another down, the one who can shout the loudest being successful buyer. Cut-ins of auctioneer.
