LS interior band and choir and audience singing John Brown’s Body Lies a Mouldering in the Grave, various lenses. MS & SCU Shinwell addressing miners, cut-ins of audience listening and applauding. Shinwell refers to people who say that the miners aren’t producing enough coal, let them come and dig some for themselves. Loud applause by miners. Also speaks about nationalisation of coal mines.
