MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: King and Queen at Leicester - Special. DESCRIPTION: The King and Queen visited several factories during their time in Leicester, at one Her Majesty was presented with some nylon stockings. At the De Montfort Hall Their Majesties received the loyal address of the Lord Mayor. The King replied and thanked the people of the City for all they had done during the war. SHOTLIST: KS Elevated shot crowded streets as Royal procession drove through, raining. Cut-ins - interior of factories, showing plastic toys in process of making. At another factory girls display several fashions. Queen looks at a pair of nylon stockings, with which she was presented. Interior shots of De Montfort Hall, King being addresses by Lord Mayor. King addresses people, thanking them etc. Personalities being presented to Their Majesties. Loud applause and King and Queen leave platform.
