MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Alamein Anniversary at El Alamein. DESCRIPTION: The fourth anniversary of the victory at El Alamein was marked at the site. SHOTLIST: KS GV cemetery, with drummer in fore. Library - taken from Rommel About Face - GV of many burning tanks in desert 10ft long - signpost El Alamein. GV of surrounding country, just barren desert. GV of grave crosses with soldiers’ names on same. German prisoners tend graves, walking past same. GV ceremony in progress, British troops service. Buglers sound Last Post. CU crosses on graves. Gravestone with sand over words No Greater Love hath Man, sand being brushed off wording.
